The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Orangeburg enrolled 1,956 students in fall 2018, including 1,450 in undergraduate and 506 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

73 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 25 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (33 percent) and white (33 percent).

The school admitted 77 percent of the 2,101 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 19 percent enrolled.
