Congressman Mike Lawler, an active voice on social media, recently addressed several pressing issues through a series of tweets. His posts touched on international relations, constituent services, and immigration policies.
On July 9, 2025, Congressman Lawler criticized the actions of Francesca Albanese and the United Nations regarding their stance towards the U.S. and Israel. He stated that “Francesca Albanese’s absurd campaign against the U.S. and Israel ends today.” He expressed strong opposition to what he termed as “antisemitic witch hunts” by the UN.
The following day, July 10, 2025, Lawler informed his constituents about upcoming opportunities for assistance with federal agency casework. He announced that although he would not be present personally, his staff would be available during Team Lawler’s Ossining and Peekskill Constituent Services / Mobile Office Hours. These sessions are scheduled for July 14th at the Ossining library from 10 AM to 12 PM.
Later that same day, Congressman Lawler participated in a press conference alongside Pastor Nathanial Demosthene and members of the Haitian community. They voiced their opposition to recent policy changes affecting Haitian refugees. Specifically, they opposed the revocation of Temporary Protected Status for Haitian refugees and a complete travel ban to Haiti.
