On June 19, 2025, Congressman Lawler announced an upcoming town hall meeting in Dutchess County. “Join me on Saturday, June 28th at 6 PM at John Jay High School for my Dutchess County Town Hall. Later that day, Lawler expressed his gratitude towards veterans by attending an appreciation event hosted by Senator Bill Weber. He stated, “I was happy to join Senator Bill Weber for his 3rd annual Veterans Appreciation event. To all the veterans who have served this country, thank you for your service.” This marks the third annual occurrence of the event.
Additionally, Congressman Lawler addressed ongoing negotiations in the House concerning SALT (State and Local Tax) deductions. He tweeted about these efforts aimed at providing financial relief: “We engaged in good-faith negotiations on SALT in the House. This is about providing tax relief to middle and working class families.”
