Congressman Mike Lawler, who represents New York’s 17th congressional district, shared a series of updates on social media between October 10 and 11, 2025. His posts focused on community engagement, public service recognition, and mental health awareness.
On October 10, Lawler posted about his experience with a local emergency response group: “I had the opportunity to take a boat ride on the Hudson with the Town of Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps. It was a great experience learning more about their marine operations and how they respond in emergencies. Grateful for their service and all they do to protect our”.
Later that day, he acknowledged World Mental Health Day with a message emphasizing the importance of mental well-being: “Today is World Mental Health Day. A reminder that mental health matters just as much as physical health.”
The following day, Lawler addressed ongoing governmental issues while highlighting his continued work in the Hudson Valley region: “While Senate Democrats may have shut the government down, my team and I have been hard at work across the Hudson Valley. We have been standing up for local communities impacted by state projects, celebrating our shared traditions, and honoring those who make our region stronger”.
These messages come as Lawler continues his efforts representing constituents in New York’s lower Hudson Valley area. The region includes parts of Westchester County and Rockland County along the Hudson River.
