On July 8, 2025, Congressman Lawler announced a collaboration with the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Rockland Business Association to host a Small Business Resource Event. The event is scheduled for Friday, July 11 at Clarkstown Town Hall. In his post, Lawler stated, “I’m partnering with the SBA and the Rockland Business Association to host a Small Business Resource Event on Friday July 11 at Clarkstown Town Hall — and I’d love for you to join us.” The event will feature a free networking breakfast and breakout sessions with SBA experts. Resources from the IRS will also be available.

Later that day, Lawler expressed gratitude towards New York State’s business community through Twitter. He acknowledged their support for his advocacy work on raising the SALT cap and other tax-related initiatives. On July 8, he tweeted: “Thank you to @BusinessNYS for your support! I’m proud to have championed the raising of the SALT cap, as well as fighting for PTET and ensuring the business tax cuts continue.”

The following day, on July 9, Congressman Lawler shared his experience speaking at Westchester Medical Center’s Annual Legislative Breakfast. In his tweet from that morning, he emphasized the importance of WMCHealth in providing diverse healthcare services in Hudson Valley. He remarked: “Yesterday, I was happy to speak at Westchester Medical Center’s Annual Legislative Breakfast. From emergency care to mental health, from pediatric services to elder care, WMCHealth is the backbone of our health care system in the Hudson Valley.” Lawler underscored that healthcare transcends partisan lines.
