On June 17, Congressman Lawler announced that “The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, June 18th through Friday, June 20th.” He noted that this decision aligns with the guidance from Israel’s Home Front Command due to the prevailing security situation. He advised U.S. citizens located in Israel, the West Bank, or Gaza to stay informed about their safety during this period.
