Records show Fleetwood Elementary had a total student body of 555 for 2025-26. Black students represented 9.4% of enrollment, making them the school’s second-largest ethnic group.
The school, part of the East Ramapo Central School District (Spring Valley), operates its central office in Chestnut Ridge.
Of the district’s 14 schools, Ramapo High School had the largest Black student enrollment during the same period, totaling 284 students.
World Population Review found that New York’s public education system ranked second in the nation overall and 31st for K-12 performance.
