Nyack, N.Y. — Montefiore Nyack Hospital has recognized two of its physicians for their service and dedication to patient care. The 2025 Physicians of the Year awards were presented to Dr. Mathew Lonberg and Dr. Bramdeo Singh during a reception on June 5, 2025, at the Hilton Pearl River.

Dr. Mathew Lonberg has been with Montefiore Nyack Hospital since 1988. He is a hematologist and medical oncologist who leads the Hematology and Oncology Center at the hospital.

Dr. Bramdeo Singh co-founded the Hospitalist Program at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, NY before joining Montefiore Nyack Hospital in 2017 as the medical director of the Sound Physicians Hospitalist Program. He chairs the Internal Medicine Sub-Internship Program at Montefiore Nyack Hospital and has received recognition for his service, including the Sound Physicians Integrity Award in 2019. Dr. Singh also holds teaching positions at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and Albert Einstein School of Medicine and volunteers with the American Board of Internal Medicine.
