Nyack, N.Y., June 16, 2025 – The Wound Care Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital has been awarded the Center of Distinction Award by Healogics, a prominent provider of advanced wound care services. This recognition comes as part of Wound Care Awareness Month in June. The center achieved notable clinical outcomes over twelve months, with a patient satisfaction rate exceeding 92 percent and a minimum wound healing rate of at least 91 percent within an average period of 30 days.
Montefiore Nyack’s Wound Care Center is integrated into the Healogics network and offers specialized care for patients dealing with diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections, and other chronic wounds that have not healed in a timely manner. Their advanced treatment options include negative pressure wound therapy, bio-engineered skin substitutes, biological and biosynthetic dressings, growth factor therapies, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
