On Wednesday, March 19, former Clarkstown South High School standout Paxton Meyers’ current college team, the UConn Huskies, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the North Carolina Tar Heels.

The game took place at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Tar Heels this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at UNCG Baseball Stadium against UNC Greensboro Spartans.
