On Saturday, March 8, former Nyack Senior High School standout Gianna Longo’s current college team, the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota State Mavericks.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 9 a.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Bentley Falcons.
