Of the 32,295 people living in Spring Valley in 2019, 48.6 percent (15,693) were women and 51.4 percent (16,602) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rockland Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 9,912-to-9,156. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,462 females and 1,075 males.
