Of the 12,076 people living in Haverstraw in 2020, 48.3 percent (5,831) were women and 51.7 percent (6,245) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rockland Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 285. In the 65 and over age range, there were 804 females and 737 males.
