Representatives Mike Lawler and Jared Moskowitz visited the Nova Music Festival Exhibition in New York City to pay their respects to the victims of the tragic event that took place on October 7th. The exhibition recreates the grounds of the Nova festival, where Hamas terrorists killed over 360 attendees and took 44 people hostage.

In a joint statement, Congressman Lawler and Congressman Moskowitz expressed their sentiments regarding the exhibition, stating, “Today, we paid our respects to the 364 innocent people killed and 44 kidnapped at the Nova festival on October 7th. We encourage our colleagues on both sides of the aisle to visit this exhibit and see firsthand the brutal and evil nature of Hamas’ attack on Israel. The festival attendees were not participating in anything political – they were enjoying life in the same way we all have a right to do. This exhibit is to honor and remember all the victims who were affected during that horrific day.”

The Nova Music Festival Exhibition serves as a somber reminder of the tragic events that unfolded, with the representatives emphasizing the importance of honoring and remembering the lives lost during the attack.

New York's 17th Congressional District, represented by Congressman Lawler, is located just north of New York City and includes Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Westchester Counties.
