The average cost of regular gas in cities within Rockland County was $3.90 per gallon.
Of the 22 gas stations in cities within Rockland County, six offer regular gas.
The average price of regular gas in New York was $3.67, compared to $3.62 the week before.
Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year’s end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51. An outlook published in late 2023 suggests that gas rates will continue to fall in 2024.
