Westchester County issued the following announcement.
“This Country – and County – were built on the backs of hardworking men and women of labor. While this is a Labor Day like no other and backyard parties are – for the sake of health and safety – downsized, we are provided an opportunity to reflect. Reflect on the movement that brought us so many of the workplace protections we now enjoy. Reflect on the efforts that built us the infrastructure we rely on. And reflect on what we can do to further keep this progress going well into the future.”
