Village of Montebello issued the following announcement.
New City, NY, – County Executive Ed Day announced that the Governor’s Cluster restrictions will take effect at 12:01 AM, Friday, October 9, 2020.
“We are awaiting further details from the Governor’s Office related to the New York State Police Task Force which will oversee enforcement of the restrictions in these zones,” said County Executive Ed Day. “We are in communication with our Towns and Villages and will share the pertinent information with residents as soon as it is made available by the Governor’s Office.”

“While we all wait for further information, I want to remind residents that government can only do so much, we cannot be everywhere, nor should we be. Each of us bears personal responsibility for our actions and a civic duty to do what is right, not only for ourselves but for our entire community. Please maintain social distance, wear a mask, wash your hands, and stay home if you are sick. If we all take these preventative actions and abide by the Governor’s restrictions in these Zones, we will get through this,” said County Executive Day.
