Of the 10,250 people living in West Haverstraw in 2019, 49.6 percent (5,080) were women and 50.4 percent (5,170) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rockland Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 3,286-to-3,122. In the 65 and over age range, there were 838 females and 495 males.
