Census Bureau: More women than men in Suffern in 2019

Of the 10,943 people living in Suffern in 2019, 53.5 percent (5,852) were women and 46.5 percent (5,091) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rockland Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 3,454-to-3,201. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,193 females and 908 males.
