Of the 7,173 people living in Nyack in 2019, 55.3 percent (3,970) were women and 44.7 percent (3,203) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rockland Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 2,140-to-1,985. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,262 females and 632 males.
