Of the 8,373 people living in New Square in 2019, 51.8 percent (4,339) were women and 48.2 percent (4,034) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rockland Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,616-to-1,528. In the 65 and over age range, there were 112 females and 108 males.
