Of the 17,517 people living in Nanuet in 2019, 52.1 percent (9,127) were women and 47.9 percent (8,390) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rockland Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 5,614-to-4,950. In the 65 and over age range, there were 2,004 females and 1,501 males.
