Census Bureau: 72 percent of people in Rockland County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 324,422 citizens living in Rockland County in 2019, 233,530 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 120,761 of those people were female and 112,769 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
