Of the 7,415 people living in Tappan in 2020, 49.1 percent (3,639) were women and 50.9 percent (3,776) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rockland Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 276. In the 65 and over age range, there were 814 females and 612 males.
