Of the 3,359 people living in South Nyack in 2020, 56.2 percent (1,888) were women and 43.8 percent (1,471) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rockland Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 296. In the 65 and over age range, there were 328 females and 295 males.
