Of the 4,454 people living in Orangeburg in 2020, 53.2 percent (2,370) were women and 46.8 percent (2,084) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rockland Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 88. In the 65 and over age range, there were 761 females and 440 males.
