Congressman Mike Lawler has reintroduced a bill to rename the U.S. Postal Service facility at 86 Main Street in Haverstraw, New York, as the "Paul Piperato Post Office Building." Paul Piperato served as Rockland County Clerk for 15 years and was known for his contributions to county services. He developed a computer imaging system, launched an online records portal, and introduced the Veteran Discount Program, RETURN THE F.A.V.O.R. Piperato also maintained Naturalization Ceremonies and introduced eFiling and eRecording services.
"Paul dedicated over three decades to public service, serving as Rockland County Clerk and spearheading innovative programs that continue to benefit the community today," said Congressman Lawler (NY-17). "This bill is a small token of appreciation for his hard work, leadership, and passion for serving others."
"Paul's legacy as a leader, public servant, and advocate for both veterans and residents of Rockland County will continue to inspire future generations," concluded Congressman Lawler (NY-17). "By renaming the Haverstraw Post Office to honor Paul Piperato, we wish to honor his lifelong commitment to the people of Rockland County."

Congressman Lawler represents New York's 17th Congressional District which includes parts of Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Westchester Counties.
