Today, Congressman Mike Lawler expressed his support for President Trump's new Executive Order designed to enhance access to in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments and reduce their costs.

"Every family in America should have access to IVF treatments at a lower cost," stated Congressman Lawler, representing New York's 17th Congressional District. "Millions of people struggle with fertility, and that should not be a barrier to starting a family. President Trump’s Executive Order today will make incredible progress on this front."

Congressman Lawler also mentioned his previous legislative efforts regarding IVF accessibility. "Last Congress, I introduced the IVF Access and Affordability Act to tackle precisely this issue," he noted. "I’m thrilled to see President Trump taking the lead on this important issue and look forward to working with my Congressional colleagues in a bipartisan way to improve access to IVF services for all Americans."

Lawler is recognized as one of the most bipartisan members of Congress, representing an area just north of New York City that includes Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Westchester Counties.
