Census Bureau: 80 percent of people in Suffern were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 10,943 citizens living in Suffern in 2019, 8,756 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 4,647 of those people were female and 4,109 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
