Census Bureau: 83.4 percent of people in Orangeburg were old enough to vote in 2020

Of the 4,454 citizens living in Orangeburg in 2020, 3,713 were old enough to vote as of March 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 1,973 of those people were female and 1,740 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
