The American Red Cross is organizing a blood drive challenge in Rockland County, New York. The initiative, known as the Five Towns of Rockland Red Cross Blood Drive Challenge, aims to increase local blood donations.

State Senator Bill Weber (R, C-38th Senate District) has expressed his support for the event. He noted that the need for blood donations remains critical and urged residents to participate.

"The American Red Cross provides an essential service to our community," said Weber. "Blood donations are vital for patients undergoing surgeries, cancer treatments, and emergency care."
