By the end of 2023, Rockland County Government will have 9 Capital projects totaling $30M completed.
Of that price tag, 85% is being covered by Federal tax dollars, 10% by New York State tax dollars, and only 5% - $1.5M - is coming directly from County tax dollars.
By having the majority of the cost bared by state and federal tax dollars, Rockland is able to reinvest local tax dollars saved directly back into our County.
These projects include River Road Reconstruction, Congers Road Reconstruction, Hurricane Irene Culvert Repairs in 6 locations, & Grassy Point Road Bridge Replacement.
