98 percent of applicants to Nyack College were admitted for fall 2018

At Nyack College, 61 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Nyack enrolled 2,351 students in fall 2018, including 1,339 in undergraduate and 1,012 in graduate programs, data shows. 16.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

50 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 41 percent are residents of other states. 10 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (30 percent) and Black or African American (29 percent).

The school admitted 98 percent of the 458 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 44 percent enrolled.
