Cost of college went up for all students at Dominican College of Blauvelt

Tuition and fees rose 1.9 percent for 2018-19 at Dominican College of Blauvelt, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $29,000 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $552 more than the $28,448 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 229 students received grants or scholarships totaling $4.9 million and 174 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.4 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,956), 1,340 students used grants or scholarships totaling $22.3 million, and 1,061 students took out $7.8 million in federal student loans.
