Volunteers Needed for "Arts In the Park" Preparation 2-28-23

On June 3, 2023, the Pearl River School District is proud to announce our first annual Arts in the Park exhibition.  K-12 students will proudly showcase their artistic and musical talents in the Central Avenue Field from 10:00a.m - 2:00p.m.  In order to do this, we need your help!   Painters are needed for preparing and cutting the many boards that will be used to display our artists' work. If you would like to help us get started, we will meet:

Please wear old clothes.

Deadline 2/28! Universal Pre-K for 2023-24

The Pearl River School District is now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year for Universal Pre-Kindergarten.

Eligible families are those who live in the Pearl River School District and have children who will be four years old by December 1, 2023 (your child must have been born between December 1, 2018 and December 1, 2019).   All applications are due by February 28, 2023.

Kindergarten Registration for 2023-24

PRHS PTSA Mac Attack Fundraiser

Support the PRHS PTSA 's efforts to fund events for Pearl RIver High School.  Their Mac Attack Fundraiser is raffling off three prizes:  Grand Prize:   MacBook Pro 16" space gray - Apple M1 Pro with 10-core CPU, 16 core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine ($2,720 value incl sales tax)

022-23 School-Aged Childcare for PRSD Elementary Students

The Rockland County YMCA announces Open Registration for school-aged childcare serving Pearl River School District students for the 2022-23 school year.

Before- and after-school childcare services will be provided for all three elementary schools at Franklin Avenue Elementary.  Students attending Evans Park Elementary and Lincoln Avenue Elementary will be transported to their respective schools in the morning and transported to Franklin Avenue Elementary in the afternoon.  Registration is on a first-come first served basis with priority given to children needing  care five days a week.

New 988 Three-Digit National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Number

988 is the new, three-digit number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL) available nationwide. This number serves as a direct connection to caring support for anyone in mental health distress. This may include thoughts of suicide, substance use crisis and/or emotional distress. 988 is a free service available to any and everyone. By contacting 988 by chat, text or phone, individuals will be connected to a trained crisis counselor. Interpretation services are available in over 150 languages.

Pearl River School District aims to ensure that our school community is informed of the resources available to anyone who is in need of an immediate connection to highly-trained, local crisis counselors that provide emotional support and assistance for behavioral health crisis and suicide prevention, as well as connections to services in the community for needed support and recovery.
