Nyack College issued the following announcement.
With all campus operations—academic, administrative and support services in one Manhattan location—Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary (ATS) is prepared to serve its students, who will begin the fall 2020 semester in a variety of formats on September 9; but the Nyack/ATS mission extends far beyond its campus community with intentional goodwill and purpose.
On Wednesday, August 26 a virtual meeting will be held for pastors and leaders. Nyack/ATS president, Dr. Michael Scales will be joined by the College and Seminary vice presidents to discuss the institutional mission and vision statement; on the ground and online undergraduate and graduate degree programs, Seminary distinctives, the different models of course delivery, academic grant opportunities, COVID-19 protocol plans and more.
Rev. Dr. Charles Galbreath (left) of Clarendon Road Church and Rev. Dr. Raymond Rivera (right) of The Sanctuary Church in the Bronx will be guest contributors to the hour-long conversation. Both men are prominent NYC pastors who will share remarks based on their personal knowledge and relationship with Nyack/ATS.
This event promises to be one that will reflect the forward-thinking vision of the College and Seminary to respond to the challenges and opportunities in the state, the nation and the world.
